Roles & Responsibilities
1. Responsible for fully accomplishing the operating budget targets assigned by the higher authorities;
2. Responsible for formulating and revising the business-related regulations and operational procedures of the department;
3. To make market development plan, and do a good job in customer development and maintenance;
4. Responsible for formulating the operation plan and market development plan for each type of fleet in Singapore according to the development plan of the higher management;
5. Assist and responsible for the analysis and research of the Singapore shipping market, and timely report on market trends;
6. Responsible for approving the time charter contract and voyage charter contract of the business department;
7. Responsible for internal staff assessment and evaluation;
8. Responsible for the synergy between the department and various business segments;
9. Assisting in the completion of the department's staff recruitment;
10. To undertake other related work assigned by the company leaders.
Requirements:
· Master Degree in Law, Economics, Finance, International Relations or relevant discipline.
· 15+ years of dry bulk chartering experiences, Familiar with the marketing of Bulk cargo is preferred
· To possess strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
· Good relationship with the shipper and trader of grain, coal, minerals, and other bulk cargo is preferred.
· Demonstrated business math and intermediate computer skills with MS Office skillsets
· Mondays to Fridays, and Saturdays and Sundays if travelling is required.
· Willingness to undertake frequent domestic and international travel, ensuring flexibility to adapt to varying work requirements across different regions.
· Proficient in both English and Chinese, enabling effective communication in a multicultural environment.
