Overview: We are seeking a skilled and versatile professional to join our team as a People & Organisation Officer. This role is designed for an individual who can navigate both HR and safety functions, ensuring the well-being of our employees while maintaining compliance with safety regulations and optimising office operations. This role will also play a pivotal role supporting with administrative requirements for the TOMRA Collection Asia team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in human resources management, coupled with a keen understanding of occupational health and safety practices.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day office operations and ensure a well-organized and efficient work environment.
- Support end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, and onboarding.
- Administer employee benefits programs
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labour laws.
- Manage employee records and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards.
- Collaborate with departments to develop and implement safety protocols and procedures.
- Serve as a liaison between employees and management
- Collaborate with department heads to address HR needs.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, changes in legislation, and best practices in HR.
- Communicate effectively with employees to raise awareness of safety initiatives and HR policies.
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years relevant experience in human resources or administration roles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
