Roles & Responsibilities:
The incumbent will report to the Head of Operations and support in carrying out the duties of investment operations of the funds. Seeking an individual with strong operations background on equity markets and swap products. This is an expansion headcount to support business growth as well as existing infrastructure.
Job Description:
- Oversight of all investment related operations from middle to back office functions
- Trade Lifecycle management from confirmations/settlements and reconciliation
- Review of NAVs (Net Asset Value Calculation)
- Margin and cash management with various counterparties
- Lead and support automation projects, process and workflow enhancements
- Work closely with internal stakeholders as well as external stakeholders (i.e Prime Brokers and Fund Admin)
- Any other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Degree with minimum 7-8 years of experience in middle office operations of hedge fund/long only funds/service providers
- Self starter of team player mentality with analytical mindset
- Ability to prioritise tasks with good time management
- Experience/exposure to project management / process enhancement
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Prefer systems Knowledge in OEMS/PMS, Bloomberg and matching systems (i.e TRAIANA/OMGEO)
