Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with expertise in project charter development, as well as proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects while ensuring adherence to project charters and Agile/Scrum principles. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to effectively manage cross-functional teams and deliver successful outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Charter Development:Lead the development of project charters, outlining project objectives, scope, deliverables, milestones, and timelines.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and establish clear goals and success criteria.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, budgeting, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
- Agile and Scrum Implementation:Implement Agile and Scrum methodologies to facilitate iterative development, continuous improvement, and rapid delivery of high-quality products.
Serve as a Scrum Master, leading daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure efficient project execution.
Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles and practices, fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and adaptability.
- Project Execution and Monitoring:Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of project objectives.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays and scope creep.
Regularly communicate project status, milestones, and risks to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals and expectations.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration:Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional project teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and external partners/vendors.
Empower team members to take ownership of tasks, make decisions, and drive towards project success.
- Continuous Improvement:Conduct post-project reviews and retrospectives to evaluate project performance, identify lessons learned, and implement process improvements.
Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies related to project management, Agile, and Scrum.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including project charter development, Agile, and Scrum.
- Certification in Agile (e.g., CSM, PSM) and experience serving as a Scrum Master is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
