Job Responsibilities:
- Planning and running physiotherapy rehab therapy services in the Senior Care Centre
- Conducting assessments for clients during admission and periodic reviews.
- Instituting an appropriate and effective client therapy treatment.
- Participating in multidisciplinary case discussions with the care team.
- Contributing to formulation and following-up of clients’ ICP to ensure holistic health and care coverage.
- Planning and conducting group therapy programme and activities for day care clients.
- Reviewing and revising programme schedules whenever necessary to enhance quality of therapy program.
- Taking charge of proper documentation of therapy records.
- Understanding dementia issues and knowing how to manage clients who display behavioural problems [associated with onset of dementia].
- Interacting to foster close and warm relationships with clients’ families and caregivers; and to exhibit with sincerity the care and respect of clients.
- Taking charge of other duties which the Centre Manager may assign from time to time.
Job Requirementss:
- Bachelor degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy
- AHPC registered
- Min. 3 years of working experience in a hospital or eldercare institution
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
