We're looking for an experienced Application Production Support Analyst to provide Application Production Support for worldwide Supply Chain and Trade Finance applications within Asia Pacific:
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate as a vital member of the L2 Production Support team, ensuring 24/7 global production support across Singapore, Hong Kong, and India.
- Provide comprehensive application support for Supply Chain globally and Trade Finance systems in the Asia Pacific region.
- Independently troubleshoot and propose solutions for intricate production issues.
- Oversee root cause analysis and manage resulting action items to resolution.
- Coordinate with multiple teams to efficiently handle production issues and maintenance tasks.
- Promptly address User Requests, Incidents, and Problems, ensuring timely resolution.
- Ensure effective tracking, follow-up, and escalation of issues.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues and prioritize permanent fixes.
- Facilitate communication and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Contribute to system monitoring, alerting, and preventive measures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Incidents resolution & Request Handling.
2. Preventive maintenance.
3. Pro-active actions / measures to limit corrective maintenance activities.
4. Knowledgebase creation & maintenance
Requirements:
- 3+ years in L2 Application Production Support within banking.
- Proficient in ORACLE PL/SQL.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in Unix/Linux environments.
- Understanding of JAVA/J2EE web apps and infrastructure.
- Support experience in Supply Chain and Trade Finance apps.
- Knowledgeable in ITIL concepts.
- Familiarity with various technologies and tools.
- Understanding of Security Practices and Cryptography.
- Experience with ITSM tool ServiceNow.
- Database performance and SQL tuning experience preferred.
