A growing Southeast Asian Pharmaceutical company is looking to expand outside of its home country into Singapore and across other SEA countries.
They are looking for a Business Manager to lead this expansion, they aren’t quite at zero revenue (they have one customer in SG) but they are pretty close. They have a registered company, a wide range of approved products and are a profitable business but have never had anybody based here in Singapore.
They will look to you to grow the business, how you look to do that will be up to you. Direct, distributor or a mix of both you will define the strategy and see it through. There is scope to hire some additional team members and you will have some support for HQ but you are still going to have to be hands on, doing the BD work and executing the strategy you created.
The Business Manager will be responsible for:
- Develop and expand customer accounts in Southeast Asia to maximize product and service growth for the company.
- Drive sales growth, meeting or exceeding revenue and profit objectives.
- Stay engaged with market trends to identify new business opportunities, manage the entire sales cycle, build a robust sales pipeline, maintain strong customer relationships, and ensure timely payment from customers.
The Business Manager will be/have:
- Relevant sales and BD experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry
- Degree qualified
- Strong knowledge of distribution partners across the region
