About the role
The National Contract Logistics Manager is responsible to lead the Contract Logistics business unit within global + regional matrix organisation to achieve all agreed financial + operational objectives working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
The activities needed to deliver these objectives include:
- To develop new business opportunities, engaging your specialist + operational teams to deliver in accordance with agreed service levels within the financial targets.
- To drive the successful implementation of new customers in a dynamic business environment.
- To be responsible for the overall financial management + success of the department.
- To drive productivity through tried + tested activities; focusing on continuous improvement at all times.
- To develop + implement customer retention strategies + activities.
Job Requirements
To thrive and be successful in this role, you must have / be:
- More than 10 years of related industry and 3PLs logistics operations experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong leadership and knowlegde of the contract logistics market.
- Strong knowledge of financial & controlling the P&L.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365.
