Under the general direction of Manger Contracted Maintenance:
· Management of all Activity In E&M Singapore and Senior Representative on Site
· Maintenance of the Relationship with SASCO
· Responsible and providing oversight for all deployed personnel and contractors supporting maintenance activity in Singapore
· Delivery of all activity on Site and oversight of all maintenance activity
· To provide direct oversight of Services supplied by the Maintenance Provider(s) to ensure that the desired outcomes are achieved in relation to Time, Maintenance standards, and Cost.
· Liaise, negotiate and provide direction as necessary to the Maintenance Services Provider(s).
· Liaise and negotiate as necessary with OEM’s, regulatory authorities, vendors and customers on Technical matters.
Ensure Maintenance Provider(s) comply with applicable Service Level Agreement(s).
· Keeping the maintenance providers focused on the provision of service by continual monitoring and ensuring any required follow-up action to achieve desired and timely outcomes in relation to the completion of work, maintenance standards and cost efficiencies.
· Responsible for co-ordinating all maintenance requirements for aircraft visits plus any special checks, engine changes etc. Ensuring that work is carried out prior to forecast or compliance expiry.
Develop relationships that assist the maintenance provider to understand the needs of Fleet Manager
Educational Qualifications:
Mandatory
· Project Management Experience
· Tertiary qualification Engineering or Commerce
· Experience of Managing Aircraft Heavy Maintenance visits
Preferred
· Project management qualifications
Sound understanding and experience of aircraft maintenance
Special Skills / Competencies / Previous Experience:
Mandatory
· Proven Vendor Relationship Skills
· Excellent interpersonal and team building skills
· 5 years relevant industry experience
· High level organisational skills, including proven business/commercial acumen.
· Proven understanding of financial and planning reporting and basic accounting principles
· Sound communication skills, both written and verbal

· Decisive and self-starting attitude with energy and motivation to be effective in a very demanding environment
· A commitment to on-going maintenance of professional standards and the development of relevant capabilities
· Computer literate – MS Office Products
Preferred
· Project Management Qualification PRINCE2 or equivalent.
· Knowledge of NZ Civil Aviation Authority and other applicable regulations
· Thorough knowledge of aircraft maintenance and Engineering processes.
· 5-10 years aircraft Engineering experience plus time in roles requiring business/commercial decisions
· Knowledge of and working with Business/accounting principles
· Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills
· Commitment to the value of teamwork and sharing of information and experience and an ability to contribute constructively to the overall change process the company is working through
Confidence in relationship building and possess the personality to influence others to provide information and to make things happen
