Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in the project kickoff meeting post contract award and organize a briefing on project scope with management and contractors.
- Coordinate renovation, reinstatement, and other site works (for retail shops and departmental counters) and manage coordination and communication with all relevant parties.
- Solicit quotations for each contract or task to facilitate comparison.
- Assist directors in ensuring projects are completed within stipulated timelines, budgetary constraints, meet safety standards, and maintain high-quality standards.
- Aid directors in the preparation and submission of shop drawings.
- Proactively address site issues in a timely manner and seek guidance from directors when necessary.
- Perform risk assessments and engage in other risk management activities.
- Compile and maintain all essential project documentation, including Pre-con Survey Reports, PTW submissions, Project Schedules, Weekly Site Progress Reports, Procurement and Drawings Tracking Lists, Handover Reports, Defect Registers, Certificates of Completion, etc.
- Oversee daily processes and progress at the project site.
- Conduct regular project site inspections.
- Work closely with and manage own workers, subcontractors, and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to workmanship standards as per statutory and client requirements.
- Manage all site works, including cost control, contract administration, and project progress management to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations..
Job Requirements:
- Experience to co-ordinate and support in handling the progress carpentry project works.
- Able to read ID drawings, furniture detailing
- PC literate – proficient in MS office.
- Ad-hoc travel able.
