JOB TITLE: ACCREDITATIONS AND COMPLIANCE EXECUTIVE

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Accreditations and Compliance Executive is responsible for ensuring that the School’s policies and procedures comply with regulatory and accreditation standards, including the Personal Data Protection Act and accreditation bodies (i.e. Edutrust and CIS/WASC). They must also ensure that our operations comply with our internal policies and procedures. The Accreditations and Compliance Executive also acts as the Data Protection Officer for the school.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accreditations
- Be part of Management Representative team for CPE EduTrust
- Assist the Management representative with organising and coordinating reports and documentation for CPE EduTrust and ERF requirements
- Assist with Academic Accreditations CIS/WASC/CAIE/IB coordination
- To work closely with the stakeholders on the accreditation process - Compliance
- Oversee, review, manage and implement policies and processes of the various departments/areas/functions
- Oversee and manage the survey and feedback/complaints management
- Oversee and manage requirements by all other authorities/agencies/bodies
- Review and evaluate company procedures to identify hidden risks
- Help to develop, review, manage, implement and disseminate policies, handbooks, forms and other documents
- Work together with facilities and other departments to ensure licences are renewed on time. - Data Protection & IT Security
Perform the duties of the school’s data protection officer, including:
- Ensuring policies, procedures and processes adhere to data protection, IT security legislation and best practice
- Reviewing processes and procedures and recommends effective improvements
- Recording data protection activity, including breach/incident reports and records of processing, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date
- Acting as an advisory role to all members of Nexus to ensure all data protection policies and processes are understood and adhered to
- Providing training on data protection to staff
- Documentation of the organisation's business continuity plans
- Documentation of Data Protection and IT security controls - Involvement in whole school events and activities as required
- To perform any other duties as assigned by the management, stakeholders, function managers and reporting manager
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Organised and detail oriented
- A genuine team player and collaborator
- Self motivated, self directed and proactive character
- Efficient time management skills
- Experience and knowledge in ISO, Auditing, CIS, WASC, IB, EduTrust and CPE requirements is an advantage
- Excellent comprehension skills and the ability to read and produce administrative and technical reports and documentation
- Relevant Degree in Business Management or equivalent
- Experience in Education Industry with PEI environment
- A good knowledge of auditing skills will be preferred
- Knowledge in using Data Analytics for auditing is preferred but not mandatory
