We are seeking a highly motivated Procurement Executive to join our team in the chemical industry. The Procurement Executive will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, managing vendor, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, possess a bachelor's degree, and have proficiency in SAP.
Responsibilities:
- Contract: Able to understand procurement contracts, including pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and service level agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Purchase Orders: Generate purchase orders and review requisitions to ensure accuracy, proper authorization, and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to forecast demand, monitor inventory levels, and optimize stock availability, minimizing excess inventory and associated costs.
- Cost Optimization: Analyze procurement processes, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement measures to improve efficiency and reduce expenses.
- SAP Utilization: Utilize SAP or other relevant procurement systems to manage procurement activities, track orders, monitor vendor performance, and generate reports.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, such as production, quality control, and finance teams, to ensure seamless procurement processes and support overall business objectives.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Chemical Engineering.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the chemical industry.
- SAP Proficiency: Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP or similar procurement software.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze procurement data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and other business partners.
