Job Purpose:
To plan and facilitate Expeditors in/outbound LCL transshipment consolidation program for economies of scale, control, and security.
- Work closely with Team Lead to support strategic planning and initiatives to meet department goals.
- Promote Singapore LCL Gateway with a goal of maximizing profit and volume growth.
- To work closely with Singapore and Overseas Expeditors offices to plan and execute our LCL via Singapore Gateway timely and efficiently.
- Process consolidation through Expeditors system which require data entry, and as per outlined in the operations SOP.
- Manage the overall gateway operations per KPIs outlined in Operational Performance Standards (OPS)
- Timely consol Billing and Settlement for revenue recognition
- Manage Order Management (OM) bookings as described in SOP
- Promote process improvement to develop an efficient and effective team
- Take up additional tasks as required to meet department’s needs.
- Complete minimum 52hrs of training per year
Qualification:
* Tertiary Educational Level
* Minimum of 1 year of Ocean transportation industry experience
* Good interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
* Good organization skill
* Good time-management
* Fluent in written and spoken English
