We are seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a Project Director for a new tuition center in Singapore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire process of establishing the tuition center from start to finish. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with Singapore's educational landscape and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and Planning:Conduct thorough research on the tuition industry in Singapore, including market demand, competitors, and trends.
Develop a comprehensive business plan outlining the vision, mission, target market, curriculum offerings, pricing strategy, and marketing plan for the tuition center.
- Legal and Regulatory Compliance:Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements for setting up a tuition center in Singapore, including licensing, permits, costing and accreditation.
Liaise with relevant government agencies, such as the Ministry of Education, to obtain necessary approvals and licenses.
- Location and Facilities:Identify suitable locations for the tuition center based on factors such as accessibility, target demographics, and rental costs.
Negotiate lease agreements and coordinate the setup of facilities, including classrooms, administrative offices, and amenities.
- Curriculum Development:Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop a comprehensive curriculum tailored to the needs of students in Singapore.
Select appropriate teaching materials, textbooks, and resources to support the curriculum.
- Recruitment and Training:Recruit qualified teachers and academic staff with expertise in various subjects and levels.
Develop and implement training programs to ensure that teachers are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality instruction.
- Marketing and Promotion:Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the tuition center and attract students.
Utilize a variety of channels, including digital marketing, social media, print advertising, and community outreach, to reach target audiences.
- Operations and Administration:Establish efficient administrative processes and systems for managing student enrollment, scheduling, billing, and record-keeping.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of the tuition center against key performance indicators and make adjustments as necessary.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, or related field.
- Prior experience in the education industry, preferably in a managerial or administrative role.
- Knowledge of Singapore's education system, curriculum frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Proven ability to think creatively, solve problems, and make sound business decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
