Job Responsibilities
- Shipment coordination for specific accounts
- Check freight rates, transportation charges, manpower charges and all other charges in order to prepare the customer’s quotation request.
- Prepare air freight, sea freight, and road transportation quotation.
- Follow up shipment movement with overseas agents and update customers closely.
- Maintain and update SOPs, contact matrix, and transport mapping
- Work closely with the customers on common/recurrent service issues and provide improvements/ solutions
- The flexibility of ideas to transfer risk management into alternative solutions to ensure any service disruption could be recovered smoothly
- Support on quotations, tender management
- Contact customers following sales call to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaints
Job Requirements
- Min Diploma holder, with at least 2 years of experience in the relevant industry
- Good team player with the ability to work independently
- Knowledge in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel and powerpoint)
