Job Description

MORNING's concept store prioritizes the customer experience above all else, striving to provide an unparalleled journey for each visitor. Our primary focus is assisting customers in discovering their perfect cup of coffee from our extensive selection of coffee capsules. You are expected to welcome customers into our spaces, engage, listen and guide customers to products that are relevant to them. We are currently seeking an individual who can embody this commitment to customer satisfaction while also guiding our team in delivering excellence.


Key Responsibilities


Team Management & Leadership

  • Meet sales targets by managing and mentoring a team of full-time and part-time retail associates.
  • Collaborate closely with other teams; merchandising, supply chain and marketing for continuous shop improvement

Retail Performance, Operations and Customer Care

  • Manage day-to-day store operations
  • Oversee general store administration and ensure compliance with procedures such as goods inbound, transfers and cashier balancing
  • Monitor store inventory levels and ensure accuracy through scheduling and ordering inventory when necessary
  • Maintain store conditions and work closely with Product Merchandiser to optimize displays in-store
  • Manage store scheduling and ensure optimal staffing levels
  • Develop strategies to enhance store customer experience
  • Resolve issues that arise from staff or customers

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of retail experience in store management, preferably with products requiring specialist knowledge and demonstration-based sales techniques.
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Shopify)
  • Experience in handling a team
  • Experience in stock management
  • You should love coffee! Coffee knowledge is a bonus, but not required.
  • Demonstrates the ability the utilize empathy to manage manage interpersonal relationships and contribute to a positive experience
  • Open to working various shifts, and able to work on weekends and public holidays
  • Communication and people management skills
  • Demonstrates problem solving skills
  • Holds genuine dedication to retail and the ability to work autonomously
