Job Description:
Our client is looking for a technical project management with Obsolescence management to complete project management profile, data packages, and satisfaction from internal stakeholders and customers.
The requirement is for a consultant to manage and ensure no supply chain impact is expected due to obsolescence and no field issue after releasing the new parts. This role should work closely with the project leads and engineering team to ensure the execution of the projects.
Scope of Work:
The scope of the project has two key objectives – Technical project management and Obsolescence management.
Obsolescence management covers the below applications:
- Background check for incoming and ongoing projects, which includes but is not limited to SPS, ATOM, previous shipment and demand, usages, material availability, and stocking out dates
- Connecting different stakeholders and managing communications between them. Key stakeholders include the engineering team, quality, safety, CE, field supporting team, materialist, etc.
- Form a strategy and plan to address obsolete parts, which need to meet current business requirements and customers’ expectations and cost requirements.
- Managing and tracking multi-functional team to complete the onsite qualifications
- Managing the cut-in procedure and monitoring the field performance after implementation
- Required to attend meetings (virtual) across the US and APAC time zones as needed for the project.
Skillsets required
- Project management experience and skills
- Technical background in engineering, semiconductor industry, hardware development, or process development
- Strong communication and management skills - coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders
