Job Scope
- Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets for medical devices across various healthcare sectors. This includes market segmentation, targeting, and positioning of medical devices including ultrasound equipment.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead a team of sales representatives and service team specializing in medical devices, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations to ensure team success and growth.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with healthcare providers, including hospitals, clinics, and private practitioners, to maximize customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Market Analysis and Adaptation: Conduct detailed market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. Use this information to adapt sales strategies and tactics accordingly.
- Product Expertise and Training: Maintain a deep understanding of the product portfolio, including technical specifications, benefits, and applications of various medical devices. Ensure the sales team is well-trained and knowledgeable.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Regularly analyze sales data, forecast future sales trends, and prepare detailed sales reports for upper management, identifying performance gaps and opportunities for growth.

Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, or STEM fields. A technical background in biomedical engineering or a related field can be beneficial.
- Experience: Extensive experience in complex sales situations, particularly in medical capex devices such as ultrasound or equivalent imaging portfolio with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Leadership and Team Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team, with strong mentoring and coaching skills to foster team development.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, essential for building and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of medical devices, including ultrasound equipment and other imaging equipment, with the ability to grasp and convey complex technical information clearly.
- Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Robust analytical skills, with the ability to use sales data and market research to inform sales strategies and decisions.
- Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs, with a willingness to travel as required.
