Job Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate and facilitate communication between relevant parties involved in the interior design process
- Ensure all design related matters are compliant with Company Design Standards, executed on time, progress and comments for rectifications and improvements are documented
- Trace, schedule and set up presentations for meetings
- Assist in the recommendation and appointment of consultants, work with the appointed consultants and properties operator during all stages of projects to ensure practical, effective and durable designs at indicated budget
- Coordinate with various functional heads to formulate design standards, including working closely with the procurement team and be conscious of the approved budget
- Review and comment on drawings and tender documents and liaise with Division Heads to address delays and challenges
- Conduct budget review, material research, tender evaluation and interviews
- Visit and analyze site and projects responsible to compile an Architectural design brief. Upon approval by Owner, it will form as basis for recommendation of Architecture consultants for various element of each project
- Conduct site visits to ensure that approved designs, standards and quality are met and any deviations are documented
- Prepare cost projections for permit and construction impact fees, verify calculation and schedules payment of funds
- Assist to develop, update and amend Company Design Standards to meet business objectives and brand strategies
- Build up and maintain a reference library on designs, new products, technical specifications, materials, etc
Job Requirement
- Excellent communication skills, ability to articulate ideas verbally, in writing and drawing
- Diploma in Architecture / Interior Design/ Building Studies or a related discipline
- Familiar with drawing tools and programmes such as Autocad, Photoshop, Sketchup
- Precise, proactive, creative and attention to detail
Please note:
- Minimum Internship Duration: At least 3 month
- Depending on educational background, Interns will be paid a monthly internship allowance of S$1000-S1500
