We are looking for an IT Technician to support in retail matters. This candidate will be reporting to the GENERAL MANAGER - CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE.
- Working Location: Bugis Flagship Store
- Working Hours: Mondays to Sundays, 11.00 AM - 9.30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Replace faulty hard drives in desktops and laptops.
- Repair laptops by replacing parts such as screens, keyboards, and motherboards
- Troubleshoot and diagnose computer problems. Smartphone and tablet as well
- Install new software and hardware on clients' computers
- Identify and resolve network issues
- Maintain accurate records of work done and time spent on each job
- Provide excellent customer service, handle client inquiries, and follow up after jobs are completed
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements
- Collaborating with other IT professionals to ensure efficient operation of computer systems
Requirements:
- Higher Nitec in Computer Science, Information Technology and above or a related field
- Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software systems, including Windows and Mac OS
- Expertise in diagnosing and troubleshooting computer problems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work assignments
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
