Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in the daily execution of work
- Ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the Project Quality & Safety Plan, contract requirements, including drawings and specifications
- Monitor, control and coordinate site works with the operations team as well as contractors
- Establish and implement controls to ensure that works are carried out safely according to the works programme and produce short term works plans
- Check construction drawings and highlight discrepancies
- Ensure that all corrective action or preventive action is implemented effectively and quality records are properly maintained
- Monitor and control progress to make sure that turnover and cost is in line with master construction program
- Ensure material submission & approval, ordering and delivery are according to agreed schedules
- Manage and control subcontractors for work progress and safety matters
- Coordinate with LTA and QPS as required
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline, recognized by Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore
- At least 3 years’ relevant experience with good experience in infrastructure construction projects, particularly on LTA MRT projects
- A&A work experience within rail protection zone is preferred
- Excellent team player, good interpersonal skills and a “can-do” attitude
- Strong business acumen with strong analytical skills
- Strong communication, negotiation and planning skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
