GL Accountant
5 days, 9am - 5.45pm (work US timing if there’s some communication/meeting required)
Location: Beach Road (Bugis)
Salary: $4000 -$5200 depends on work experience
Job scope:
- Updating/maintaining general ledger and month-end journal closing entries
- Assisting in month-end and year-end closing
- Assist with internal/external audits, prepare audit schedules and NTAs
- Calculate and prepare journals for tax accounting
- Perform cost allocation for management reporting
- Perform reconciliations for balance sheets accounts, including intercompany
- Prepare balance sheets schedules
- Prepare data for direct and indirect tax filing
- Assist in annual stock take
- Assist in periodic management reporting
- Perform other duties as directed
Requirements:
- Min Diploma or Degree from a recognised institution
- With 3-5 years in GL Accounting
- Solid understanding of general ledger accounting
- Thorough knowledge of accounting and ledger procedures, In-depth knowledge of IFRS and USGAAP is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of Oracle (any ERP)/UiPath (RPA)/Hyperion/Essbase is an advantage, application and data interface
- Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
- Require to work US hours if needed
