Job Duties
- Ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the project quality plan, contract requirements including the drawings and specifications
- Monitor and control works including those of subcontractors to ensure compliance with the specified requirements
- Ensure material submission and approval, ordering and delivery are according to agreed schedules
- Liaise and coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, authorities and to establish rolling programme
- Coordinate meetings and daily briefings at site
- Check all installation drawings and prepare relevant schedule
- Perform testing and commissioning at work site
- Prepare shop drawings for construction
- Co-ordinate with the rest of the team right down to the foreman/subcontractor to ensure everyone is clear on the planning, scope, resource requirements
- Ensure that the works are carried out on time in accordance with the programme and on budget.
- Guide and support subordinates in carrying out the tasks as planned; Seek support from and report to superior if required
- Assess subcontractor performance against plan and resolve issues collaboratively; Escalate major deviations/delays from plan to superior in a timely manner
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering with at least 4 years of experience in M&E projects
- Preferably with relevant experience in the construction industry
- Good communications skills and able to work under minimum supervision
