Introduction - Organisational Details

Barilla Singapore seeks to recruit the next Financial Planning and Analysis for APAC Region. The individual will directly report to the Finance and Administration (F&A) Director APAC. The position is based in Singapore.


Job Purpose

To support the F&A Director APAC to provide insights and analysis of the region’s business performance by clusters, markets, categories, and channels to achieve aligned profitable growth target. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders in each cluster to analyse opportunities and challenges and to report the region’s financial performance in compliance with Barilla Group’s accounting policies and procedures.


Key Accountabilities

  1. Provide monthly consolidated overview of the region’s performance by clusters, markets, categories, and channels, versus targets, including tracking the status of identified opportunities and challenges.
  2. Support the F&A Director of APAC during the annual budget and quarterly forecast setting process of the region by clusters and categories.
  3. Monitor and track the commercial investments, marketing investments and structure costs spending within the region.
  4. Work closely with Marketing and Research, Development and Quality teams on innovation projects within the region.
  5. Support ad hoc financial analysis and key initiatives within the region.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum degree in Finance, Business and/or Accounting (or equivalent).
  2. Min 2 years of experience in financial, planning and analysis, preferably with regional experience.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Good knowledge and experience in financial application and reporting tools (such as SAP, excel, PowerBI and EPM, etc.).
  5. Results driven, independent, agile and a team player,
  6. Able to multi-task and navigate well under pressure.

Additional Information

Start date: March/April 2024

Contract: local contract. Temporary 8 months with possibility to convert into permanent.
