Purpose and Scope
- Provide maintenance works and plant equipment to support the Operation
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule corrective and preventive maintenance works. Include liaising with operations, prioritize jobs, mobilize work force, spares and allocate resources.
- Lead technicians in implementing in preventive and corrective maintenance
- Trouble shoot critical or major plant issues, participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) studies, plant improvement initiative, and drive cost management.
- Implement management initiatives to optimize the assets and seek to continuously improve on the methods, procedures and update with the latest developments in the market by adopting a suitable approach like proactive initiatives viz predictive and preventive maintenance activities and default actions like failure finding, redesign and run to failure.
- Review budget, monitor spending against budget. control cost.
- Upkeep risk registers, take part in safety walkdowns, implement safety initiatives, and ensure that good safety practices are practiced by all parties’ maintenance work.
- Develop and establish maintenance procedures, risk assessment and method statements for all maintenance activities to ensure safe execution
- Ensure that maintenance works, and plant equipment comply with Statutory Requirements.
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Mechanical engineering
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in a WWTP / Water Plant environment
