JOB OUTLINE

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Manager of IT Infra and Security to join us. The candidate must be an enthusiastic, proactive and motivated individual with real passion for technology. You are required to work closely with the Network/Server team, Security team and our customers to ensure the successful delivery of our services.

Candidate is responsible to ensure to manage / support the infrastructure related project and to deliver service to customers are in compliance with NYK Group Credo and business policies. He/she reports to the GM/DGM/Manager as a member of the division. He/she must ensure timely and accurate response to customer’s request, to liaise with related parties (internal/external) to ensure smooth coordination for all transactions.

Role: Permanent

Working days: Mondays to Fridays

Working hours: 9.00am to 5.30pm

Qualifications: Diploma / Degree

Salary: S$7,000 to S$14,000

Job duty office add: 1 HarbourFront Place, #14-01 HarbourFront Tower One, Singapore 098633

Must be able to travel to subsidiary offices in Singapore.


Your duties essential for the job:

1) Strategic project management and promotion of innovation:

· Assume responsibility for strategically planning and executing infrastructure projects across the Asia / Oceania region, aligning them with global business objectives and strategy.

· Foster collaboration among team members, ensuring their active involvement in goal achievement and maximizing project outcomes.

· Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and operational efficiency using innovative technologies.

2) Innovative design and deployment of cloud and network infrastructure:

· Lead the introduction of cutting-edge technologies and industry best practices to revolutionize the design and deployment of cloud and network infrastructure.

· Drive the adoption of innovative approaches, such as automation and orchestration, to enhance the efficiency and scalability of the infrastructure.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create new architectures that optimize resource usage, enhance performance, and enable rapid service deployment.

3) Leadership and support in infrastructure security and risk management:

· Lead and enforce comprehensive security policies and procedures to protect the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of the infrastructure.

· Take charge of managing and supporting security incidents and devising effective response strategies to minimize risks and ensure business continuity.

· Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans, and proactively address security vulnerabilities through patch management and security updates.

4) Relationship management and collaboration with group companies in the Asia / Oceania region:

· Cultivate strong relationships with group companies in the Asia / Oceania region, fostering a spirit of collaboration and synergy.

· Understand the unique business requirements and needs of each group company, providing tailored support and solutions.

· Lead joint projects with group companies, promoting seamless collaboration, knowledge sharing, and leveraging resources for mutual success.

5) Leadership and support for team members’ growth:

· Provide strong leadership and mentorship to team members, helping them develop their skills to foster their professional growth and development.

· Facilitate training programs and mentorship opportunities to enhance technical expertise and foster professional growth.

· Foster a motivating work environment that encourages collaboration, cooperation, and cross-functional teamwork among team members.


Basic requirements:

· Demonstrated experience in managing or assisting with IT Infrastructure and Security Projects.

· Strong knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Products including Azure, MS365 etc.

· Familiarity in Shipping or Logistics industries is considered an advantage.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing IT Infrastructure and Security Projects with a proven record of delivering successful projects.

· Possess a solid technical background with knowledge or hands-on experience in Network/Server configuration and Security Assessment/Audit.

· Demonstrated experience in successfully managing global network project(s) and security project(s)

· Proficiency in Japanese at JPLT N1, enabling effective verbal and written communication to report project situations to the stakeholders or make presentation to existing/potential customers.

· Excellent punctuality and attendance record.
