- Responsible for providing guidance to subordinates working on product qualification or development / qualification of various forms of packaging / process technologies.
- Lead and think strategically for a long-range department goal with respect to yield and quality, productivity, cost reduction, process controls and new capability.
- Manage all phases of technical projects. Oversee product's or project’s conceptualization, design and initial product specifications and manage scheduling, estimating and securing materials. Draft, execute and track project progress and keep costs under control.
- Help to train new engineers and keep abreast of industry trends and issues.
