Job Responsibilities
- Create and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct safety training sessions for employees on topics such as hazard identification, emergency procedures, proper equipment usage, and safety protocols.
- Perform regular inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and work processes to identify hazards, assess risks, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Lead investigations into workplace accidents, injuries, and near misses to determine root causes, identify corrective actions, and prevent future incidents.
- Ensure compliance with relevant occupational health and safety regulations, standards, and codes of practice
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks and improve workplace safety.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans for various scenarios, such as fires, chemical spills, natural disasters, and medical emergencies.
- Evaluate PPE requirements, procure necessary equipment, and ensure proper use, maintenance, and disposal of PPE by employees
- To participate and assist in all EHS related activities, campaigns and committees.
Requirements
- Min. 5 - 8 years of relevant working experience as a Safety/ EHS Lead/ Supervisor
- Possess Certificate in WSH (Level A)
- Register as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer with Singapore's Ministry of Manpower (Preferably with FSM certification)
- Candidates should be dynamic, self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
- Able to response to emergency call, if happens
- Preferably have a valid driving license and with own transport.
