About the Role:
Responsible for supporting in the countries of the APAC region for repair services / technical issues. Responsible for handling assessments and shipping inspections on repaired/serviced equipment. Responsible for quality issue investigation during product warranty to communicate with manufacturers in Japan/Germany/USA to correspond to customer queries/requirements in a timely manner.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Main point of contact for service-related feedback/issues with headquarters in Japan.
- Provide technical support including technical training.
- Perform repair quotation assessment and shipping inspection of medical products.
- Perform product quality issue investigation during product warranty.
- Communicate with manufacturers in Japan/Germany/USA to handle product quality-related matters to resolve customer complaints in the market.
- Analyze and feedback on product quality-related issues and trends to manufacturers in Japan/Germany/USA to improve product quality and specification.
- Perform corrective action as a quality controller.
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements and maintenance of the system.
- Develop and implement new jigs and equipment.
- Implement a system for repair service.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

What we are looking for:
- Diploma or Degree in any Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering Discipline
- Related experience working in the medical device industry for at least 6 years is highly preferred.
- Experience in Manufacturing Engineering/Quality Assurance/Quality Control.
- Experience in technical support including technical training.
- Knowledge of implementing production equipment for medical endoscope
- Knowledge of the structure of the medical endoscope
- Good in hand-skill and eyesight
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and its applications
- Possess good communication skills and troubleshooting skills.
- Able to work in a team environment and work with staff across different age groups.
- A team player with the zest to learn and can work with minimum supervision.
- Fluent in English and Japanese is mandatory for daily communication with Japanese-speaking stakeholders, branch offices, and business partners.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
