JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a dedicated Research Officer to join our team in developing an innovative artificial intelligence (AI) solution aimed at predicting responses to cancer immunotherapy (IO). The role involves assisting in the development and implementation of deep learning models, participating in data analysis, and interpreting multiplex immunofluorescence and histological images. The successful candidate will contribute to identifying and validating novel spatial biomarkers, collaborate in the design and execution of experiments, assist in the preparation of scientific reports, presentations, and publications, and actively engage in interdisciplinary team meetings and discussions. This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge area of cancer research and AI application.
JOB REQUIREMENT:
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of bioinformatics, computer science, computer engineering, Life Sciences, or other data science intensive program.
- Proficiency in deep learning, machine learning, and image analysis, using Python, R, and GPU computing.
- Basic knowledge on cancer biology, bioinformatics, biostatistics.
- Possess minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Ability to work independently to translate research ideas into programs with efficient coding.
- Good team player with both research and data analytics ethics.
- Strong desire to learn in a dynamic multi-disciplinary research environment.
- Highly motivated, committed, independent, and have passion for research.
- Proficiency in project management and multitasking, strive under pressure.
- Meticulous, good analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
