Overall Responsibilities
- Conducting screenings and evaluations to identify health issues among students.
- Conducting regular health checkups – dental, and eye checkups.
- Providing first aid.
- Educating students, staff, and parents about health topics, such as hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention.
- Ensuring students are up-to-date on required vaccinations.
- Developing and implementing emergency response plans for medical situations.
- Identifying and addressing mental health concerns, providing counselling, and referring students to appropriate resources.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential health records for all students.
- Implementing policies and procedures to prevent the spread of communicable diseases.
- Providing training to school staff on health-related topics and emergency response procedures.
- To provide medical support for all activities conducted by the school.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years or more relevant full-time experience as a nurse.
- Candidate must at least possess Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field.
- Fluency in spoken & written English.
- Certification in First Aid & nurse training.
- Knowledge of community agencies to help students and their families.
- Basic IT Skills.
- Interpersonal communication skills.
