JOB DESCRIPTION
The Project Supervisor is responsible for supervising the set-up, maintenance and safe and efficient operations of equipment used for moving cargo onto the transportation. He/she is also responsible for overseeing checks on the rigging or mechanised equipment.
He is required to supervise rigging and lifting operations, be observant and perform quality checks for the operation. He is also expected to supervise general or project transport operations and activities including planning and scheduling manpower and transportation resources and executing of transportation operations. He/she is also responsible for preparing and documenting operations reports.
He is also expected to work longer hours, and maintain communications with carriers, suppliers, warehouses, custom brokers and others involved in the project operations to accomplish his work.
REQUIREMENT
- Certificate in Logistics Services, Professional Diploma or its equivalent
- Have a Class 3 driving license
- With 2 years of project operations experience
- Possess forklift certification and able to train others on forklift operations
5.5 days work week
