Job Summary
To ensure the organisation meets its fundraising target and to establish or strengthen relationships with major donors
Job Responsibilities
- Be the lead in all fundraising activities
- Plan and execute new innovative ideas in fundraising
- Strategise and implement marketing and media plans to reach the fundraising target
- Develop, motivate and enhance relationships with current and potential donors to secure donations
- Prepare and present relevant materials and collaterals to potential donors (both individual and corporate)
- Maintain accurate records and updates of donors
- Oversee all donor activities
- Write grant letters to various associations and foundations to request for donations and funding for various programme and operational needs
- Update and manage the database of donors
- Liaise with Finance Department for the processing of donations
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders for timely updates and presentations of the fundraising activities
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the department or any other ad-hoc activities and events that require involvement
- Manage a team of fundraising executive and intern within the department
Qualifications & Requirements
- A degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communication or equivalent
- 2 years of proven experience in non-profit fundraising, with a track record of meeting or exceeding fundraising goals
- Highly internet savvy, with good MS Office skills
- Strong knowledge of fundraising techniques, donor relations, and grant writing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Extensive network in high level of business environment is a plus
- Adept in using Salesforce would be bonus
