Position Purpose / Context
The position is to support the W@POS and Sales team to achieve business goals through trade activation initiatives, and responsible and accountable to influence the daily actions, of the sales team, as they relate to product availability; order generation; and in outlet activation, within the assigned outlet. Responsible at route level for ensuring brand / pack availability at the outlets, communicating promotions, trade schemes, market development.
Key Duties / Responsibilities
1. Support on Category Management with planogram planning, design and execution.
2. Quarterly review planogram and sales for existing category captaincy account.
3. Work with respective account manager for meeting document required for JBP or Internal survey or review.
4. Support in the development of the Annual Marketing and Channel Plans for assigned channels and major retailers/trade customers.
5. Work closely with respective Sales Managers (General Trade/Modern Trade / OP Trade) to obtain alignment on Marketing Plan & Calendar as well as activities and promotions.
6. Achieve PiCOS target for all channels to drive SOVI, volume and sell-in range.
7. Develop PICOs/Execution Standards for assigned channels according to Windows and each new product
8. Track, monitor & share status of in-store activation of promotions, POSM, equipment placement, marketing activities & new launches
9. Responsible for POSM and Premium distribution and inventory management
10. Work with vendors and supplier in developing relevant POSMs and other trade activation materials
11. Source for premiums & prizes for promotions as well as develop & produce supporting collaterals in collaboration with Market Planning team.
12. Track & analyze business & brand performance for each channel & major retailers/trade customers. Identify opportunities and develop & implement plans to capitalize on them. Develop & implement corrective actions if necessary to ensure objectives & targets are on track
13. Track, monitor and share competitors’ activities in each channel and ascertain possible impact on our business. To recommend corrective actions if needed
Related Position Requirements/Qualifications
Education: Diploma/ A level in any field
Experience: 1-3 years’ experience relevant experience in beverage manufacturing environment or any other related field
Candidates with working experience in FMCG industry and exposure to modern and general trade would be of added advantage
