Job Scope:
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Encourage and motivate the sales team to upsell grooming services, retail products, and special promotions.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying opportunities for growth.
- Foster a customer-centric environment by ensuring all interactions prioritize exceptional service.
- Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, or issues promptly and professionally.
- Train and supervise staff to provide knowledgeable assistance regarding grooming services and products.
- Oversee inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock of grooming supplies, pet accessories, and retail products.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize losses and optimize product turnover.
- Train, and supervise a team of sales associates, ensuring they are knowledgeable about products and services.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate sales targets, promotions, and new product information.
- Provide coaching and performance feedback to enhance individual and team performance.
- Ensure the shop is well-organized, clean, and adheres to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with grooming and administrative teams to streamline operational processes.
- Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and security protocols.
- Work closely with the marketing department to implement and promote special offers, events, and loyalty programs.
Job Requirement:
- Minimum of 2 years in retail sales management, preferably in the pet grooming or pet care industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and organizational needs
- Willingness to stay updated on industry trends and best practices
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Attend to emergency call and able to work during public holiday or weekend if required
- 6 working days per week
