We are a local company serving the Aerospace, Oilfield & Gas and Medical industries in the region. Our company is a distributor for The Lee Company in the US which specialises in high performance miniature hydraulic devices and a few other principals. Due to expanding business, we are looking for suitably qualified people to fill the following position:
ENGINEER
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for sourcing, negotiating and managing supplier database.
- Handle requests for information, quotations, proposals, and bidding processes.
- Work cross functionally with sales, engineering and customer service departments to develop sourcing opportunities.
- Negotiate with suppliers and customers to meet quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Liaise with Principals/Suppliers in other countries with regards to technical matters.
- Perform initial and final inspection of products and documents.
- Interact and liaise with customers for any quality/technical related issues.
- Prepare test procedure or design fixture, whenever needed.
- Perform assembly, testing and packing as per procedure/documentation whenever needed.
- Implement QMS procedures, work instructions and other quality related duties/documents.
- Carry out failure analysis work and reports.
- Provide engineering and field support for regional external sales staff and customers.
- Perform any other supporting duties as assigned – eg Turnkey design work
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification: Diploma/Degree in Engineering.
- At least 2 to 3 years’ working experience, preferably in the Oil and Gas industries.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Training will be provided.
- Demonstrate self-motivation and initiative, works with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, relationship building, and project management skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information.
Our office is located near Jurong East and Clementi area.
