Morgan McKinley is seeking a Data Engineer for a 6 month contract assignment with a possibility to extend or to go perm!
Job Description:
- Deploy, maintain and migrate on cloud existing dashboards (Risk and Compliance controls) on PowerBI (on premise and on cloud)
- Contribute to ETL (Extract Load Transform) maintenance (Java, SQL, Python) for data feeds
- Ensure data pipeline reliability and performances (Data Store API maintenance/ improvement, Persistence layer optimization)
- Support complex dashboard design and data source configuration (Power Query)
- Ensure execution of integration and deployment pipeline with various stakeholders (Product, SRE, DevOps)
- Maintain security access to dashboards (User group access rights)
- Perform administration tasks on dedicated PowerBI sites and workspaces, interface effectively with Group CIO team in charge of PowerBi infrastructure provising
- Perform application team support (L3 production support)
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
- Java, SQL
- CI/CD & GitLab
- Scrum methodology
- Data visualization tool (PowerBi, Tableau, Qlick, etc.)
Desired Skills:
- Python
- Oracle
- MongoDB
- PowerBI and Power Query
- Wealth Management business understanding
- Data lineage
