Job Summary
We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer with experience in Elastic Stack and data analytics to be part of a leading banking institution.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or any related field;
- Has 3 to 4 years of proven experience in monitoring application and systems;
- Expertise in Grafana, Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats), and Kafka, including setup, configuration, upgrades, patching, data management, monitoring, analytics, and dashboard development;
- Expereince in SRE practices covering monitoring, observability, performance management, automation, and resiliency;
- Strong proficiency in Linux Shell and Python scripting;
- Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS);
- Self-motivated, dedicated, and a collaborative team player.
Desired Skill-set
- Prior experience in the banking industry.
Responsibilities
- Configure server infrastructure according to design specifications, ensuring compliance with organizational and industry security standards;
- Implement ongoing improvements for the platform, focusing on areas such as capacity planning, observability, monitoring, reliability, and resiliency;
- Create and design data engineering pipelines;
- Automate repetitive tasks, streamline processes, and conduct comprehensive testing to maintain high quality;
- Maintain and generate software documentation;
- Perform application maintenance, patching, and upgrades;
- Develop straightforward dashboard applications.
