Operations Supervisor :
• Plan, deploy and manage Inspector/s;
• Provide guidance to Inspector/s during their operation work. This will also include accompanying new inspectors for on-the-job training, if necessary;
• Resolve issues (e.g., administrative inconveniences, disputes among inspectors) which arise during the course of the duties of the Inspectors;
• Ensure all reports and documents that require to be furnished to the Authority are of the prescribed quality standard (all data are accurately captured and be free of grammatical errors) and are submitted timely;
• Approve reports that are submitted timely within the deadlines specified in Para 6.1(a)(ii).
• Issue Enforcement Notices that are recommended timely within 5 working days from the time the feedback/case is assigned;
• Prepare and submit a report of inspection;
• Track follow-ups;
• Inform the Authority of any significant case that has come to the attention of the Inspectors in the course of their duties;
• Serve as a Point-Of-Contact to the public for matters related to inspection;
• Manage public queries received through the hotline and email account (set up by the Authority) and complaints arising from the inspections. Ensure prompt and accurate replies are provided to the public;
• Escalate complex public queries and complaints to the Authority;
• Escalate complex/recalcitrant infringement to the Authority; and
• Carry out inspections with the Inspector/s or the Authority upon request by the Authority during the Authority’s official working hours.
