Join us as a Banquet Events Executive in Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium.
Reporting to the Banquet Manager, you will be responsible to support the Banquet Operations and supervise the service and delivery of menu items in assigned functions and events to fulfill the organizers’ requirements in attaining high guest’s satisfaction level.
Description:
- Co-ordinate the day to day operations of the Banquet floor to obtain maximum guest satisfaction
- In the absence of a Manager, conducts shift briefings to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known.
- Liaise with any agencies or partners on part-timer manpower requirements
- Endeavour to resolve all complaints during shift and logs all complaints in log book for further follow up
- Greet function organizers on arrival and ensure that their requests are dealt with and ensure that rooms/function space are set-up according to guest expectations and banquet event order
- Follow up AV problems which may arise from event order and room allocations and rectify as soon as possible.
- Works with Superior on manpower planning and management needs
- Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements
Requirements:
- Diploma or Higher Nitec in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage, or related field, with 1 - 2 years’ related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Obtained food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local government agency.
- Willing to work on rotating shifts and also on weekends.
