1. To perform Data Analysis and Reporting
- Analyse and generate reports of Asia Pacific data on Customer Backlog (CBL)
- Work with Sales Logistics Customer Interface Team to ensure data quality and track the progress of CBL
- Perform data validation, identify the root cause and resolves issues to improve the order fulfilment rate and overall impact on customer service level
- Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and aggregate data from large databases efficiently.
- Utilize Common Table Expressions (CTEs) to create temporary result sets and simplify query readability.
- Leverage Window functions to perform advanced analytical operations, such as ranking, partitioning, and aggregations, within SQL queries.
- Optimize SQL queries for performance by using appropriate indexing strategies and query execution plans.
- Employ various JOIN operations (INNER JOIN, LEFT JOIN, FULL OUTER JOIN) to merge data from multiple database tables efficiently.
- Create subqueries and correlated subqueries when necessary to retrieve specific subsets of data.
- Implement conditional logic and CASE statements within SQL queries to handle complex data transformations.
- Continuously optimize SQL queries for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Monitor and tune database performance to ensure efficient data retrieval.
2. To build and enhance dashboards to support Process Automation
- Build and enhance Power BI dashboards with existing databases (SQL database, etc.) on different Order To Cash (O2C) topics.
- Maintain and improve current Power BI dashboards, including enhancing SQL scripts in databases and DAX measures in Power BI.
- Provide technical support to resolve data-related issues and troubleshoot problems in dashboards, and reports.
- Develop Python scripts to streamline and automate manual data transformation processes.
- Identify repetitive data preparation tasks and create reusable Python scripts to perform data cleansing, formatting, and aggregation.
- Continuously optimize and enhance Python scripts for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate and align with central departments/stakeholders to support in achieving sales target
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of data analysis and reporting solutions.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
