Job Description
Strong understanding of Data Governance concepts; must have experience in implementing DG Framework and best practices.
§ Assess current data management processes and provide solutions around the enhancement of data governance maturity
§ Accountable for driving continuous improvement in data governance culture/technology and expansion of data governance initiative within the team.
§ Must have experience in creating data governance policies on different areas of DG
§ Drive the awareness and establishment of data related improvement initiatives across the team.
§ Ability to manage senior management relationships across all the business and functional areas.
§ Consensus building capability, with a strong ability to influence the Business and IT teams on the DG best practices, and the way forward
§ Knowledge of data related regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues that impact enterprise data governance.
§ Must appreciate the people, process as well as technology aspect of Data Governance and must be aware of various components (or sub-practices) within Data Governance, e.g. Data Governance culture, Data Quality, Data Privacy, Metadata Management.
§ Must have strong written and oral communication skills
§ Extensive experience around all aspects of Data Governance including but not limited to, building DG Roles & Responsibilities, Data-Quality framework, Metadata management, Data modelling, data naming standards etc.
§ Good to have experience on DG tools and affinity with Data Lake (Synapse, Databricks etc.)
