Reponsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies for mechanical equipment, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and reliability studies to optimize maintenance schedules and minimize downtime.
- Lead root cause analysis investigations for equipment failures and recurring issues.
- Implement corrective and preventive measures to address mechanical system inefficiencies and enhance reliability.
- Perform routine inspections of mechanical equipment to identify signs of wear, damage, or potential failure.
- Utilize condition monitoring techniques such as vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis to assess equipment health.
- Oversee the planning and execution of plant maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints and project timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance technicians, operators, and other engineers, to achieve project goals.
- Stay informed about industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols relevant to mechanical systems in power or oil and gas plants.
- Ensure that maintenance activities comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Requirement
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent recognized by the Professional Engineering Board
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in plant maintenance from the Power or Oil and Gas industries
- Sound Mechanical engineering maintenance knowledge.
- Good knowledge of safety and statutory requirement will be and advantage
