Responsibilities
- Organize the project tasks step by step and allocate enough time to meet deadlines.
- Determine how many workers are needed and send them to construction sites if necessary.
- Check projects regularly to make sure they follow building codes and safety rules.
- Explain project plans and contract terms to staff, workers, and clients.
- Get all the permits and licenses needed.
- Supervise and manage workers.
- Review job specifications to choose the best construction methods.
- Handle delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction sites.
- Meet with supervisors, owners, contractors, and designers to solve issues and complaints.
- Plan, arrange, and oversee construction and maintenance activities.
- Investigate accidents, damage, or delays at construction sites to ensure proper procedures are followed.
- Use computers to assess construction methods and determine if plans are cost-effective.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related studies
- Min. 8 years of construction project management experience in M&E related field, preferable with LTA projects experience
- Experienced in handling multiple projects
- Possess effective organizational and follow-up skills, meticulous
- Good interpersonal skills and able to interface with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner
