Responsibilities
- Perform month-end closing and able to handle a full set of accounts
- Perform day-to-day accounting activities, maintain records & data entry
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and monthly/annual stock count
- Ensure inventory control measures are in place
- Preparation of financial and management reports and audit schedules
- Assist auditors in the annual audit
- Assist in the preparation of GST filings and ensure timely submission of GST returns
- Responsible for administrative documentation, processes and coordination
- Act as a liaison with the other departments
- Any ad hoc projects as assigned by the Financial Controller
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or professional qualifications in Accountancy
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in full sets of accounts
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office, Excel & Word)
- Responsible, possess initiative, independent and resourceful
- Be a team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Analytical mind and effective problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
