Clinical Duties
- Provide first aid treatment and primary healthcare a nurse’s capabilities.
- Provide basic stabilisation and triage to major cases within a nurse’s capabilities.
- Monitor the patient’s condition, assess their wounds, and change dressings as required
- Take reasonable care to ensure their own health and safety and the safety of others.
- To report any injury, hazard or illness as soon as possible to their supervisor.
- Administering medication and insulin, and completing blood pressure, glucose, urine, and stool tests.
- Educating caregivers and family on the aftercare or ongoing care of the patient.
- Providing suggestions for improved healthcare to physicians and family members of the patient.
- Monitoring patient recovery and compiling reports for the physician.
Requirements
- Valid SNB/ BCLS
- Ok to travel overseas with patient
- Prior experience in ICU/A&E preferred
