Your Role
We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Officer to assist with the daily operations of shipping and freight forwarding services.
What Will You Do
- To attend to customers' and agents' inquiries and complaints.
- To arrange trucks and collection of cargo.
- To prepare booking and shipping documentation.
- To coordinate and monitor shipments with carriers and clients.
- To process custom permit.
- Ensure all cargoes are in good condition and if any damage shall revert to customer.
- To inform the shipper of any changes in vessel details or delay in arrival date.
- To assist with billing and closing jobs.
- To support all aspects of sales and operational activities.
- To perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.
What Do We Want
- At least a Diploma in Logistic or Transportation or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in Freight Forwarding or Shipping industry.
- Good knowledge in MS Office applications, Permit, Portnet.
- Have knowledge in shipping systems, eg. online booking, declaring custom permit.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
