Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance of common FM assets in a corporate setting such as ACMV including AHUs, Water dispensers, pantry pumps, sump pumps, motorized partitions/doors and other mechanical and electrical systems, etc,
- Attend to user’s requests and complaints via established Computerized Management Systems.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise the installation of new air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems in new and existing facilities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and specifications during the installation process.
- Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all ACMV systems using the CMMS to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Respond promptly to reported issues and breakdowns, diagnosing problems and executing necessary repairs.
- Coordinate with external contractors when specialized services are required.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the energy consumption of ACMV systems and implement energy-saving measures to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
- Recommend upgrades or replacements of outdated systems to improve energy efficiency if necessary,
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and replacements performed on ACMV systems.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices in all ACMV-related activities.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation as required by management.
- Conduct training sessions for staff to raise awareness about proper usage and maintenance of ACMV systems.
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in ACMV technology and share relevant knowledge with the team.
- Any ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Diploma, Higher Nitec or Nitec in Engineering with minimum 5 years relevant experience in the maintenance of M&E systems or its equivalent work
- Previous experience in the maintenance, repair, and installation of ACMV systems is essential.
- Possess relevant specialist certification showing maintenance competency from a accredited local training agency,
- Familiarity with different types of air-conditioning systems, ventilation systems, and their components.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to ACMV systems and other M&E systems.
- Proficiency in using relevant tools, equipment, and software for maintenance and diagnostics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively to meet deadlines.
- Possession of Class “3” driving license is an added advantage.
