Line cook (BBQ)
- Assisting with stocking and setting up kitchen stations
- Prepare food, including cleaning and cutting ingredients and cooking main dishes and appetizers.
- Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
- Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing equipment and ingredients at the end of the shifts
- Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
- Trained in meat butchery (portioning steaks, trimming meats)
- Preparing high-quality meals and food items according to company recipes
- Keep the work area clean and safe
- Makes adjustments to food preparation to accommodate customers' specific requests, such as special diets or allergies
- Estimate expected food consumption and organised preparation
- Monitor supplies and re-order stock when necessary
- Manage and ensure kitchen food cost is in a healthy range
- Minimize food wastage
- Assist with any other duties as requested by the Superior or Management

High school diploma or equivalent: A diploma from a culinary school will be an added advantage
