Responsibilities:
- To assist Regional Housekeeping Manager in directing the daily operations of Unit Cleaning, Laundry, Landscape, Public Areas, and Pest Control
- Carries out quality control checks of rooms/units, ensuring the rooms/units are maintained with utmost cleanliness and comfort for all guests.
- Conducts daily briefing, training, and monitoring of outsource and internal cleaning teams, ensuring cleaning standards are met and exceeded for all guests.
- Plan and schedule daily maids’ assignments, noting all guests’ requests and preferences.
- Inspecting and ensuring all units assigned are cleaned and completed by end of each day.
- Carries out inspections on public areas, grounds and landscape are well maintained.
- To check and record routine pest control treatments are carried out in units and public areas.
- To arrange for urgent pest control treatments with outsource vendor if required.
- To ensure all sub master and master keys are monitored and accounted for daily.
- To coordinate and conduct quality control checks on in house linen, guest laundry and staff uniforms sent for pressing/washing/dry cleaning with outsource vendor.
- To monitor stocks and raise EPOs for breakfast, in house item inventories and welcome packs.
- To liaise with all approved vendors on quality control, receiving, stock ordering and cost control
- To attend daily operations meetings and any other follow up action required by guests/Regional Housekeeping Manger
Requirements:
- Hotel diploma or certificate in Hospitality
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience
- Great multi-tasking skills, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Able to commence work within a short notice period.
